I get more flak from my own family (who know/suspect deep down the virus is mostly overblown as a threat and the masks do jack squat either way against the virus) than randos in or outside stores for disobeying the "wear mask" signs.
The Utah governor could have just as easily deflected by feigning ignorance or claiming the Jazz scholarship program is privately run and they can do whatever they want regardless of his own opinion about the program and no one would have been the wiser.
