The People's Colonel: Russia's original goal was to stop the persecution of ethnic Russians in Ukraine. Now it's to freeze NATO (and maybe re-colonize the evacuated areas?).

Man, so many lives lost and maimed. War is hell no matter what. I agree the U.S. is not ready to fight a war with Russia and/or China for multiple reasons: physical lack of readiness, bad leadership, lack of moral support for the cause.
Wait, Ukraine has a trans military leader, too? So much for the Based East...
Old equipment is fine so long as it is still good. Sounds like some of this old equipment is not so good, however...

It gets worse. Even if you believe the Ukraine side is the side that should win the Ukraine-Russia conflict, there's no guarantee the weapons sent to help Ukraine are getting used in Ukraine.
