ALIENS! Avi Loeb thinks ETs have paid us a visit and sent us stuff (an asteroid in 2017) and wants to find more examples and evidence of ETs doing this.
There's also this school of thought that UFO and ET talk is just code speak for secret government projects and public figures going along with the UFO and ET narratives are complicit in the coverup.
