How are conservatives losing the gender war?

According to Abigail Shrier, we aren't fighting it the right way, i.e. protecting sex-segregated sports, facilities, and social spaces; banning medical transition for minors; and getting gender ideology out of the schools. I thought we were doing that already?

I was hoping more for a, "we've been using Losing Strategy A for too long; we need to do B instead" type of discussion.
