About those voter purges, it needs to be a total purge periodically (every 4 years after a new presidential term starts, maybe?) to make it more difficult to illegally vote on someone else's behalf. Either that, or switching to a system that checks if you're legally eligible to vote at all, and which races, at the polling place instead of bothering with a registration process.

A teen's parents have been charged over the teen's high school shooting. The charges have to with insecure storage of a firearm. On one hand, they raised that teen and may have had a hand in the teen being the type of person to shoot up a school. On the other hand, it's the teen who threatened people and shot up the school, and there's only so much control parents can have over their children, especially teenagers.
