Now for a puzzling conundrum:

The "new" right: "The left are the real ists/phobes" messaging holds our movement back!

"What should we say instead?"

The "new" right: Essay on how Trotsky invented the whole concept of "racism" to manipulate tbe general public, other isms/phobias were invented by the left to pathologize natural aversions toward certain things, comparing being called ist/phobe to being called a more obscure perjorative/outgroup word and that's why name-calling by others shouldn't inform policy, messaging, etc.

"But how does that translate into what I should say/do when someone calls me a ist/phobe?"
