Johann Hari again. He concedes that the drugs can help some people for some time. Turns out he was abused as a child and that contributed to his issues. He recommends gardening as an alternative to drugs. Maybe that can be made accessible to people with limited mobility, not really interested in raising plants, etc.

If you see this and know someone who might benefit, look into off-label prescription of a generic form. I can't tell you if it is or isn't a good answer for anyone's medical situation.
