Consider race and ethnicity when assessing risk

Can make sense when biological differences between groups translate into differences in how the body takes to a treatment, but this is clearly being done for DIE reasons re: monoclonal antibody treatment offerings.

Stephen IDGAF Miller of America First Legal is having none of this.

They're blaming a man (Glenn Youngkin) who hadn't been sworn into office yet for the weather plus mob mentality induced traffic gridlock on I-95 in Virginia. Even Jonah Goldberg fell for it. I thought they were going to blame Trump.

From a monologue all over the place that said that people generally prefer to live in less-populated areas if they can help it and less-populated areas are generally nicer to look at than densely-populated areas to dunking on Resident Biden to Big Tech vs. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

That rat experiment was later deemed to only really be applicable to prisons. Basically so long as people have a way to leave and each person has some private space, the Norway Rat Experiment Catastrophe won't happen.

Ban "insurrectionists" from running for re-election? On one hand, yikes! On the other hand, maybe this could be used to get some RINOs (and other not sufficiently "with it" Republicans) replaced with better representatives.

Undermanned and under-prepared military?

That may not be a bad thing when it comes to the size and strength of a force that has a non-negligible chance of being turned against the citizenry.

I see that Candace Owens has been learning a bit of comedy technique from Mark Steyn. Speaking of Sandy Cortez's deflection of criticism onto critics' alleged desire to sleep with Sandy, maybe that explains why Tucker has some of the critics that he has.

I'm in for the new year!

Now for a puzzling conundrum:

The "new" right: "The left are the real ists/phobes" messaging holds our movement back!

"What should we say instead?"

The "new" right: Essay on how Trotsky invented the whole concept of "racism" to manipulate tbe general public, other isms/phobias were invented by the left to pathologize natural aversions toward certain things, comparing being called ist/phobe to being called a more obscure perjorative/outgroup word and that's why name-calling by others shouldn't inform policy, messaging, etc.

"But how does that translate into what I should say/do when someone calls me a ist/phobe?"

The "new" right: LOL IDK or repeats essay on linguistic manipulation depening on day

Canadian bank denied a home mortage for political reasons. It's been happening for a while to online services who don't toe the line. Maybe this will be what spurs the reinstatement of the Fair Access to Financial Services order and the addition of political affiliatiation or belief to the list of protected classes in national anti-discrimination law.

I did an online search for "pandemic pets abandoned". It's especially bad in India, apparently. A lot of people adopted pets to tide them over in isolation then got rid of their pets when jobs, local laws, etc. no longer required staying home. Allergies is a highly understandable reason, especially if you had no way of knowing ahead of time it would be a problem for you or someone in your household and weren't offered pet allergy testing. Another likely factor is inflation (it's affecting other countries, too!) pricing people out of proper pet care.
